Method
- Step 1: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. During the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.
- Step 2: While the pasta cooks, season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper on both sides.
- Step 3: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C). Remove from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- Step 4: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, chopped parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce (if using). Mix well.
- Step 5: In the skillet used for the chicken, add the cooked pasta and broccoli. Pour the cowboy butter mixture over the pasta and toss to combine.
- Step 6: Slice the chicken and serve it on top of the pasta and broccoli. Drizzle any remaining cowboy butter over the chicken and garnish with additional parsley, if desired.
