- Step 1: If using fresh corn, remove the kernels from the cob. For frozen or canned corn, drain and rinse as needed.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Step 3: Add the corn to the skillet and stir to coat it thoroughly with the melted butter.
- Step 4: Sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar. Mix everything well to combine.
- Step 5: Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is heated through and slightly caramelized.
- Step 6: Season with salt to taste.
- Step 7: Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.
Notes
For a creamier version, add a splash of heavy cream or cream cheese. Can also add diced bell peppers or jalapeƱos for extra crunch.
