Ingredients
  

For the Stir-Fried Shrimp
  • 1 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Cooked rice

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Step 2: Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Step 3: Toss in shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. Step 4: In the same skillet, add asparagus and mushrooms. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Step 5: Return shrimp to the skillet and add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine.
  6. Step 6: Season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
  7. Step 7: Serve immediately over cooked rice if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days, reheating gently with a splash of water.
