- Step 1: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Step 2: Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Step 3: Toss in shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Step 4: In the same skillet, add asparagus and mushrooms. Stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Step 5: Return shrimp to the skillet and add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine.
- Step 6: Season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Step 7: Serve immediately over cooked rice if desired, and enjoy!
