For the Sticky Honey Pepper Jack Chicken Pasta
  • 2 large chicken breasts diced
  • 1 cup pasta any type like penne or fusilli
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup shredded Pepper Jack cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes adjust to your heat preference
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Once the chicken is cooked, add the minced garlic, honey, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  4. Step 4: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the honey sauce. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded Pepper Jack cheese until melted and evenly distributed.
  5. Step 5: Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

This dish is great for leftovers! Store any uneaten pasta in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can reheat it in the microwave or on the stovetop. Just add a splash of water to help loosen the sauce.
