Method
- Step 1: In a bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Mix well until the honey is fully dissolved.
- Step 2: Place the sliced pork tenderloin in a zip-top bag or a bowl. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring all pieces are coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight for best results.
- Step 3: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and season with salt and pepper. Add the pork to the skillet in a single layer, cooking until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Step 4: Once the pork is cooked through, pour the reserved marinade into the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Step 5: Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for another minute until the sauce thickens and becomes sticky.
- Step 6: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
