Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Pie

Ingredients
  

For the Pie Filling
  • 1 pre-made chocolate cookie crust saves time
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter choose your favorite brand
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for sweetness
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup whipped topping like Cool Whip
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp butter for melting chocolate
  • 1 cup Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups chopped, for topping
For Garnish
  • Extra Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups for garnish

  • Small saucepan
  • Spatula
  • Plastic wrap

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and softened cream cheese. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  2. Step 2: Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is light and fluffy. Be careful not to deflate the mixture.
  3. Step 3: Pour the peanut butter mixture into the pre-made chocolate cookie crust and spread it evenly.
  4. Step 4: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and butter together, stirring constantly until smooth.
  5. Step 5: Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer in the pie. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
  6. Step 6: Sprinkle the chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups on top of the melted chocolate layer.
  7. Step 7: Cover the pie with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for the best results.
  8. Step 8: Before serving, garnish with additional Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups if desired. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

This pie is best enjoyed fresh, but you can store it in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. It can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
