Method
- Step 1: Rim your glass with salt (optional) by rubbing a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it into salt.
- Step 2: Place fresh pineapple chunks and blueberries into a cocktail shaker and gently muddle to release juices.
- Step 3: Add tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker with the muddled fruit.
- Step 4: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill and blend flavors.
- Step 5: Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with fresh ice, using a fine strainer if desired to remove seeds and pulp.
- Step 6: Garnish with a few pineapple chunks and blueberries on top for a pretty presentation and extra fruity bite. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh fruit for best flavor. You can swap triple sec with orange juice for a non-alcoholic version. Try different berries or add sparkling water for a fizzier drink. Store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge and consume within 24 hours. Add ice fresh before serving to avoid dilution.
