- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Step 2: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the sheet.
- Step 3: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter and brown sugar together. Stir continuously until boiling, then cook for 2-3 minutes without stirring.
- Step 4: Pour the caramel over the arranged saltine crackers and spread it evenly.
- Step 5: Bake for 5-7 minutes, until bubbly and the crackers are slightly golden.
- Step 6: Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over the hot caramel, let sit for a minute, then spread melted chocolate into an even layer.
- Step 7: Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and drizzle over the chocolate layer.
- Step 8: Sprinkle red and blue sprinkles (or M&Ms) over the top.
- Step 9: Allow to cool completely and break into pieces.
- Step 10: Serve and enjoy!
