Method
- Step 1: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, and egg until well combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms. Lightly knead the dough on a floured surface for about 1 minute until smooth. Roll the dough into a rectangle (about 12x8 inches).
- Step 2: In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread the softened butter over the rolled-out dough, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly on top. Evenly distribute the crushed Oreo cookies over the filling.
- Step 3: Starting from the long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Cut the log into 8 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Step 4: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the cinnamon rolls for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Step 5: In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
- Step 6: Drizzle the cream cheese glaze over the warm cinnamon rolls and enjoy!
