- Step 1: In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Step 2: Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x9 inch baking dish to form the crust. Set aside.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Step 4: Gradually add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Step 5: Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Step 6: Pour the cream cheese mixture over the prepared crust and spread evenly.
- Step 7: Sprinkle the crushed Oreo cookies on top of the cheesecake layer.
- Step 8: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
- Step 9: Cut into bars and serve chilled.
Notes
These bars can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Just make sure to keep them covered to maintain freshness. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months; just thaw them in the fridge before serving!
