Method
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, French onion soup, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, thyme, and parsley.
- Step 3: Use your hands or a spoon to mix everything together until all ingredients are well combined.
- Step 4: Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan or shape it into a loaf on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Step 5: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the meatloaf.
- Step 6: Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Step 7: Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Allowing the meatloaf to rest before slicing helps keep it moist. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for about 3-4 days.
