For the Kielbasa Tortellini Skillet
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For sautéing and adding flavor.
  • 12 oz kielbasa sliced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth The base of our creamy goodness.
  • 12 oz cheese tortellini fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup heavy cream For that rich, creamy texture.
  • 1 cup spinach chopped
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning A blend of herbs that ties it all together.
  • Salt and pepper
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
  2. Step 2: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Stir in the tortellini and cook according to package instructions until tender.
  4. Step 4: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, chopped spinach, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the spinach is wilted and the mixture is heated through.
  5. Step 5: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

You can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Just reheat gently in the skillet or microwave, adding a splash of broth if it looks a little thick.
