Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the diced apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Mix well and then spread the apple mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Step 3: In another bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Step 4: Add the cubed cold butter to the oat mixture. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
