Method
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rotini pasta, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Step 3: Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Step 4: Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the pasta and chicken mixture.
- Step 5: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Step 6: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Step 7: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Step 8: Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
Notes
Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
