  • 2 cups cooked rotini pasta
  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken use leftovers or rotisserie chicken
  • 1 jar marinara sauce 24 oz
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rotini pasta, shredded chicken, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
  3. Step 3: Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  4. Step 4: Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the pasta and chicken mixture.
  5. Step 5: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  6. Step 6: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Step 7: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Step 8: Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
