Method
- Step 1: Start by cooking the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions. Once it is al dente, drain it and set it aside.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until it is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Step 3: Next, add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Step 4: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Bring this mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Step 5: Stir in the Italian seasoning and shredded mozzarella cheese, allowing it to melt and create a creamy sauce.
- Step 6: Finally, add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta in that lovely sauce. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. When you’re ready to enjoy it again, simply reheat it on the stove over low heat, adding a splash of chicken broth if needed.
