Method

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Step 3: In another bowl, combine the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until a dough forms.
  4. Step 4: Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute.
  5. Step 5: Roll the dough into a rectangle (about 12x8 inches).
  6. Step 6: In a small bowl, mix together the crushed cookies, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread the mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. Step 7: Roll the dough tightly from one long side to the other, then slice into 1-inch pieces.
  8. Step 8: Place the rolls into the prepared baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Step 9: While the rolls are baking, prepare the icing by mixing the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth.
  10. Step 10: Once the rolls are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly before drizzling with the cream cheese icing. Serve warm.
