- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Mix until well combined and a thick dough forms.
- Step 3: Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts (if using) until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Step 4: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Step 5: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the tops look slightly cracked.
- Step 6: Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
