- Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cottage cheese, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, hot sauce, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly until creamy and uniform.

- Step 3: Transfer the dip mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish and smooth the surface with a spatula.
- Step 4: Sprinkle the reserved 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

- Step 6 (Optional): Broil for 1-2 minutes for a crispy, golden cheese topping. Watch carefully to prevent burning.
- Step 7: Remove from oven, let cool a few minutes, then garnish with thinly sliced green onions. Serve with chips, celery sticks, pita chips, or veggies.
Notes
Use shredded rotisserie chicken for convenience or substitute with shredded jackfruit or cauliflower for a vegetarian version. Store leftovers covered in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat gently in oven or microwave. Freezes well up to 2 months.
