For the Brown Sugar Pork Chops
  • 4 pieces boneless pork chops
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Step 2: In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  3. Step 3: Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the pork chops.
  4. Step 4: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear them for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Step 5: Drizzle the apple cider vinegar over the pork chops.
  6. Step 6: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Step 7: Remove the skillet from the oven and let the pork chops rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Step 8: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Leftover pork chops can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
