  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for a creamy finish

  • as needed cooking oil or cooking spray for cooking the crunchwraps
  • optional jalapeños, salsa, or any other preferred toppings customize your crunchwrap

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Blackstone Griddle

Method

  1. Step 1: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat. Add taco seasoning and follow the packet instructions, typically adding water and simmering until thickened.
  2. Step 2: Lay one large flour tortilla on a flat surface. In the center of the tortilla, layer the seasoned ground beef, a small tostada, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and any additional toppings you desire.
  3. Step 3: Carefully fold the edges of the tortilla towards the center, creating pleats to enclose the filling.
  4. Step 4: Heat a Blackstone griddle or large skillet over medium heat and add a little oil or cooking spray. Place the folded crunchwrap seam side down on the griddle. Cook for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy, then flip and cook the other side for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Once both sides are crispy and golden, remove from heat. Cut in half and serve with additional sour cream, salsa, or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

These crunchwraps are best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through.
